Profitability
One of the Gateway Global Groups major common business initiatives is to run a profitable operation, which typically means increasing revenue while limiting expenses. Revenue objectives will consist of increasing annual sales by 10 percent every year. Expense goals will involve finding a new operating project every year and cutting monthly utility bills and expenses by 15 percent through various methods.
Customer Service
Our customer service goals are to develop assurance that our company is easy to do business with and to improve our response time to customer complaints or issues. Our objectives to help meet these goals will be increasing our customer service staff when necessary and take steps to implement policies where customers are guaranteed to receive a return phone call before the end of the business day.
Retention
Doing business always involves experiencing problems with employee and associate turnover. Our overall goal will be to improve retention. To achieve this goal, our objectives will be to develop and implement a training and incentive program that details new-hire activities for the first 90 days on the job. We will also implement one-on-one meetings with our employees and associates in an effort to build rapport and find out whats on their mind and what is most important to them.
Efficiency
Another goal will be to become more efficient in our business operations as a way to increase productivity. To improve efficiency, we will challenge our sales staff to improve their closing ratio from 30 percent to 45 percent when neccessary. If we distribute a product, we will consider implementing a new shipping procedure that improves our delivery time from four days to two.
Growth
Most important to Gateway Global Group is our goal to grow our business operation yearly. One of our objectives will be to develop and operate three more projects within a five-year period to meet this initiative. If we operate a retail store, our initiative will be to increase our selling by 25 percent by considering additional methods.
